HBO has delayed the release date of “True Detective” season 4 to 2024. The new season subtitled Night Country, features Jodie Foster and Kali Reis as detectives investigating the mysterious disappearance of eight men in Alaska. Although they didn’t give a specific date, the trailer released earlier this year said it was coming in 2023.
Season 4 of True Detective’s release date has been moved to the upcoming year(2024). The official HBO website recently updated that season 4 will be arriving in 2024. TV Line also confirmed that the premiere date is now set for January. Due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, many movies and TV shows are rescheduling their release dates, which prevents actors from promoting projects.
Expectation From “True Detective” Season 4
True Detective season 4 brings up new episodes for the first time since 2019. Featuring cast to this season Foster and Reis take on the roles of Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro. They joined forces to look into the mysterious disappearance of eight men from an Alaska research station, with suspicions of murder.
In previous True Detective seasons, both detectives did not seem to be a perfect match, now both will have to face their own inner demons to crack this complex case. It clearly seems that the forces of darkness are relentless, just like in the past.
Other Cast John Hawkes, Christopher Eccleston, and Fiona Shaw are also there in season 4 of “True Detective”. In the first season of Nic Pizzolatto who didn’t have creative role, in her absence Issa LĂłpez to take his place and Moonlight’s Barry Jenkins as an executive producer.
Although, viewers have to wait until January 2024 to see “True Detective” season 4.
